2011 – 2012 Update Course (9912)

BICAR (Broker-in-Charge Annual Review)(8812) is a required elective course for all BIC. This requirement as of July 1, 2006 requires that a BIC does not have a CE elective option after the first renewal of his or her license following BIC designation! The BIC 8 hours of continuing education is always: Mandatory Update and Broker-in-Charge Annual Review. However once this requirement is met, the BIC may also take additional electives exceeding the required courses.

#3: Lead Safe Renovation, Repair and Painting (3094) (What Agents Need to Know)
EPA has regulations to address renovation, repair and painting (RRP) activities in housing built before 1978. The purpose is to reduce children's exposure to lead paint dust created during these activities. This rule went into effect April 2010. Realtors who do property management or RRP work themselves on properties that they own need to be trained and certified in the new lead-paint safe work practices. Learn the regulations and be sure that you and your referrals are in compliance.
